Rajasthan Technical University is an affiliating university setup in 2006 at 15 km far from Kota in Rajasthan, India. The university was established to ensure rising standards of technical education. Formerly it was Engineering College, Kota.
This University aims and ensure to provide standard and quality technical education which would help Rajasthan for it’s technical development and will boost technical education helping in development of the country.

This university now currently affilates about 129 Engineering Colleges, 41 MCA Colleges, 114 MBA Colleges, 40 M.Tech Colleges and 23 Hotel Management and Catering Institute from all over rajasthan. More than 2.8 lacs students study in the various institutes affiliated to this University.

This University offers all courses related to technical education which includes Bachelor of Technology, Master of Technology, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

The Honb’le Governor of Rajasthan Excellency Smt. Margaret Alva is the Chancellor, and Prof. R.P. Yadav is the Vice-Chancellor of the University.

Nearly thousands of students graduate from the University every year and are employed in leading companies fulfilling aim of university whereas many applies for post graduation. The University is making steady progress in developing and ensuring best technical environment for education and will continue to serve the nation for coming years.
